Barrera: Like most Aquarians, I'm often calm, sometimes raging, and mostly fluid. I'm a native of South Texas and a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin. I'm Mexican-American by blood, Tejana at heart, and Lesbian in soul. I've always written. It's cathartic, asylum, a mirror, a mistress. I write because I'm compelled to, and am often as surprised by the results as the reader. I hope you enjoy my submissions here; I sincerely welcome your comments and/or criticism.
