About Amarice Daphnaika:

  • I'm an ancient soul, Wiccan and nostalgic of the ancient Amazon era. My heart longs for the Goddess and for the day where the Amazon Nation will rise again. My Poetry is the expression of my soul, my dreams, my desires, my love for the Goddess and the Amazon Sisterhood, my hate of fundamentalism, imperialism and oppression, a call for freedom and auto-determination. I consider myself as an Amazon patriot and my writings are my sword and my cry to my Sisters, as well as to the outside world who never understood me. I'm at the same time bard, priestess, warrior, healer, Renunciate. I am a great admirator of Marion Zimmer Bradley, Marge Piercy and Sappho and of strong Women who are not afraid to speak up their minds and stand for themselves. My guides into this world, my inspirators, are Artemis and the Amazon queen, Lysippe. I have no stronger wish than that the Amazon Nation will rise again, to be that beacon in darkness that our world is seeking.
