"It looks weird." The brunette started as she looked over her own painting, her very flamboyant best friend, Kevin, butted heads with her observation. "It does not. It looks fine, I can totally see that you're making...a whale?" Chelsea turned to him with a smile, covered in paint she placed her paintbrush down. "It's abstract art, not a whale." She washed the oil paint from her hands, Kevin rushed her. "C'mon, aren't you even a little excited? It's your first opening." Chelsea pulled her hair up, after applying a liberal amount of eyeliner. "I don't get nervous. I get sick." The dark-haired male pulled her along, linking arms as they made their way into the gallery. "I'm gunna get a drink, you want one?" Chelsea folded her arms over her chest and nodded, her eyes taking in her life as of the last three years. People ooh-ed, they ahh-ed but nothing was ever good enough to be purchased and that was fine. As Chelsea's eyes traveled the the young male in the tight black pants that was supposed to be getting her a drink, he was off talking and flirting.

She chuckled softly as someone touched her shoulder, "Ms. Pryce?" She pulled herself around to see the brunette in front of her, inquire about the art behind her. As her eyes overviewed over the woman they caught the sight of someone else's someone was staring at her as well. Chelsea felt her body heat up just as she caught the features. The prettiest features that could be set on one face, Brittany. Brittany Trovato. Her arm linked within a man's as she smiled, and laughed. Chelsea diverted her gaze as she turned to the woman, "Excuse me.", with a small tug of Kevin's arm she looked down at the wood paneling, "She's here." Kevin gave a small chuckle at the sudden nervousness, pulling her chin up. "Whose here?" Chelsea pushed the blue locks from her face as she pulled her face to his ear, whispering. "Brittany. Brittany Trovato. She's here...with a man." Kevin perked from his most recent stand, looking among the crowd. "Well, that's awkward."

"Will you excuse us?" He pulled her throughout the crowd, catching the blonde's highlights and stopped right in front of the couple. With a forced enthusiasm, "Brittany!" The blonde caught on quickly and realized who he was, pulling from her arm candy and wrapping her arms around the male's neck. After the seconds that seemed to drag on, Kevin began the line of questioning. "Gosh, how have you been?" The blonde smiled, pushing her hair form her face. "I've been great, me and my fiancé, Harold, recently bought a house in Rhode Island." Kevin smiled, linking arms with Chelsea and almost pushing her forward. "This is my roommate, Chelsea. Wait, you know Chelsea, don't you?" Chelsea felt a blush cover her cheeks as her eyes upturned to the gorgeous blonde, the blonde letting out a small, nervous smile. "Chelsea.." She spoke her name softly and the brunette felt her legs go numb, she could've fallen over at any moment. Brittany pulled her into a soft hug, Chelsea's arms found themselves clutched around her body but Brittany didn't seem to mind. She took in her scent, she smelt the same and suddenly Chelsea broke the hug. Shoving her hands in the pockets of her paint-covered denims, "You look great." Brittany caught the compliment and returned one. "Your work, it's amazing...I was never really much of an artist myself, but you - I never knew you were so talented." Liar.

The moment ended as fast as it began, Kevin opened the door to the studio and Chelsea threw herself onto the couch, Kevin chuckled. "She looks great, and she's engaged." Chelsea's head whipped around, "What? She never said that." The male smiled knowingly, "She didn't have to. You see that rock on her finger? Whew, chunk of change from her little boy toy." The brunette slammed her fists on the couch, "Greaaat. She's getting married, maybe they'll shoot me at the alter." Kevin sat on the end of the couch, brushing her hair from her face. "You know what you need? We need to go out. Find you a girl." Chelsea glared at him, "That was Kevin for 'I need a boy'." Kevin placed a faux insulted gasp on, "It was not! What if I actually want to help you out? I mean, have you even had sex since Brittany?" Chelsea slapped his thigh rapidly as if to be insulted, jumping off the couch. "Yes! I so have! Rebecca! I slept with her." Kevin laughed hard, clutching onto the couch. "Oh yeah! Who could forget Rebecca? Go ahead, who else?" Chelsea stressed as she needed to pull a name up from no where, "Shut up, not everyone needs to be laid on a three day cycle, Kevin." He gave a concerned look, placing his hand over his chest. "Oh my god, you haven't. Brittany was your last...good lay." With that being said, Chelsea took off to her bed. Dropping there and plugging her iPod into the station. She just wanted to sleep this all off, as if this night had never happened.
