Chapter One

“Nefratiri Adams sat alone in her plush apartment. She came from a less than privileged upbringing to living in the more ritzy side of Chicago. Her life was pained with family trauma, little money and hidden feelings for a lady she knew she could never have. She worked hard to get where she was today, miles from the pain, and bad reputation garnered after the traumatic events in her early life. The saddest thing to Nefratiri was, that she was miles from Angel.

The one thing Nefratiri had hoped to leave behind along with all the hurt was the bottle. It was a constant reminder of her heartless mother yet she drank from it nightly. The bottle helped to numb a life that being the VP of a well-known conglomerate could not make go away. It eased it for too short a time however, and she awoke each morning, put on her business face and continued her facade of having a great life.

She sat the bottle down after having a few long drinks from it. She did not want to go back home for the most part but there was a part of her that did. Going home would bring up all sorts of bad memories that she never truly shook off but they seemed worse back home. After her biological mother was stripped of custody, an aunt had taken her and her twin sister Andrea in and cared for them as if they were her own. Aunt Sarah struggled to support herself and her two children with an ailing husband to boot. The little money meant second-hand clothes and, for a grade school child, that often times meant ridicule. Nefratiri would later take great pleasure in paying back many of the girls and guys for said ridicule by breaking hearts and taking away boyfriends. This was something she was no longer proud of but she dealt with matters in the best way she could.

The only bright spot in Nefratiri’s pre-teen youth was her best friend, Angel Mathews. She was an upbeat child with plenty of energy and smarts. Her blindness didn’t stop her from having a decent grade school life. However, there were those who tried to get her down by poking fun as well. She befriended Nefratiri and Andrea from day one. It was a friendship that lasted for two years. It was only hindered when the sisters moved away. As well as, Angel’s mother decided to enroll her in a school for the blind in an effort for her to become more cultured in mobility and studies. The friendship picked up where it had left off however, when Nefratiri’s aunt moved the family back home during her high school years. Seven years had passed since the girls saw each other but you couldn’t tell it by how fast they clicked again.

She had not seen Angel in nearly twelve years now and that was the only reason she didn’t mind going home. “I wonder who will laugh at me now,” Nefratiri said aloud with a frown on her face, as she remembered the ridicule from her fellow students. “Go figure, now it is common for the kids to go around with holes in their jeans.” She spoke aloud again as she took another swig from the whiskey bottle and leaned back to ponder her high school days.

The year was 1985 when Sarah Williams moved her 16-year-old nieces, Nefratiri and Andrea along with her children back to Centerville Michigan. She had got the chance at getting a decent job there from an old friend after her husband’s death and jumped at it. She wanted a fresh start for all the children. This was a big move but Sarah was ready to shoot for a better life. Her nieces seemed eager for a change though were hesitant about going back to all the bad memories.

Sarah used the small lump sum pension pay off from her husband’s former place of work to pay a couple months rent on a small house as well as get things they would need. New furniture, dishes and TV were once a dream but now Sarah had these things and a new lease on life. She felt as if a huge burden were lifted from her shoulders though she missed Ray terribly. She hoped the girls too would feel the burden lifted as city life proved to be no better for the girls during their time spent in Springfield Ohio. Sarah hoped Centerville would now be a town that didn’t berate the twins she’d come to love as her own, but rather a town where they could find a fresh start.

The move from a city with over 65,000 people back to a small town of just over 1,000 would be a big one but Sarah was determined to do it for her family. Her children were excited to go home but Andrea, who was a quiet thoughtful girl, seemed both excited and troubled. In fact, though troubled, Andrea was basically a carefree girl. In contrast to Nefratiri, who was outgoing, boisterous and tried to hide her troubles behind this attitude. Neither girl lacked in self-confidence outwardly but Sarah hoped this change would give them confidence inwardly as well.

The family had gone shopping the day before school was to start and were giddy at the prospect of having up to date clothes that were new. Sarah smiled as she watched the children look through the stylish clothes with refreshing looks on their faces. Sarah believed this change was going to go over smoothly and was pleased with her decisions for the first time in a long time. She had always done the best she could for all the children but felt it wasn’t good enough but now she was beginning to feel as if she were finally doing something good for her children as well as the two who her sister abused then all but abandoned. The children had not heard a word from their biological mother since they were seven and Sarah didn’t feel one bit sad over it.

Andrea and Nefratiri walked to the high school early Monday morning. They were both dressed better thanks to their loving aunt and both hoped at least that that portion of their lives where they were put down was over. Andrea stood at 5’4” with blonde hair and big blue eyes. She had a slender build and dressed casually in jeans, short sleeved-shirt and denim jacket. She was more of a practical girl then her sister and very studious though knowledge seemed to come natural to Nefratiri.

Nefratiri stood at 5’6” with black hair and deep brown eyes and was of a slender build. She dressed in jeans, more revealing tops than Andrea, boots and a black leather jacket. Her attire fit her newfound attitude perfectly, that of slight arrogance and making the girls regret how they treated her. Unlike Andrea, Nefratiri not only harbored pain from her grade school days but also planned to make them pay. Andrea knew Nefratiri was a smart girl but felt her plan of action on this matter was not going to be promising. “Home sweet home,” Andrea mumbled in a bitter tone as the girls entered the building. She truly wanted things to be better this time around but couldn’t help but feel bitter at this town and its occupants for allowing the children of its adult occupants to treat two little girls in such a bad manner. As for bitterness towards her mother, Andrea stopped feeling any emotions towards her long ago.

“That’s right, we can make it our town now An.” Nefratiri spoke with a gleam in her eyes that made Andrea worry.

“Nef,” Andrea said briskly in a scolding tone. She instinctively had taken more of a mothering role towards her sister since before they were taken from their mother. “We’ve had enough trouble here; can’t we just see how it goes? Look at the bright side, maybe someone in Angel’s family goes here and maybe we can at least get to find out how she is getting along.”

Andrea knew that mentioning Angel’s name would cool her sister off for the time being. She missed the girl and thought of her often but knew her sister formed a tighter bond with their only true friend and would probably always miss her but never show it as Andrea did. Nefratiri wasn’t one for showing her feelings as Andrea was and Andrea wished her sister wouldn’t be so closed off. “Yeah maybe so,” Nefratiri replied with a far off look on her face.

As the two girls headed for the office to pick up their books and schedules, they saw a group of people come in the school doors. Three girls and two guys were laughing and talking but neither sister recognized them. Behind the group, walking with a guy was a girl with a big huskily built Labrador retriever at her side. “Angel!” Nefratiri said excitedly as she raced through the group of students.

Chapter Two

Salley Mussler and Tanya Jones looked at the taller girl who quickly moved towards the group. They neither recognized her at all but somehow she knew Angel. Sandy, the gorgeous black guide dog stood protectively in front of Angel as her boyfriend, Kenny Myles checked the new comer out. The other two guys boisterously showed their appreciation of her looks by whistling as she approached Angel. "Hey Angel, do you remember me?" The girl said as she lightly patted the dog on the head.

Andrea watched her sister's demeanor change instantly and smiled boldly as she too made her way to their long lost friend. "Nefratiri," Angel said as she recognized the tone of voice instantly. She didn’t know how she knew the voice from so long ago but she did. An instant smile spread across Angel’s face when Nefratiri spoke to her and all her friends took notice. Angel had acquired friends over the years and done well in the social scene but none of them compared to the bond she shared with the sisters who now stood before her.

"No Angel," Angie Simons responded in disgust. "You've got the wrong girl for sure. Besides how could you recognize a voice from that long ago? This girl is pretty and looks a little butch," she motioned to the jacket and short haircut Nefratiri sported. “If I recall, Nefratiri or whatever her name was got her clothes from one of those donation places because her mommy ditched her.”

Anger flashed in the eyes of Andrea and Nefratiri. Though Andrea was the more practical of the two girls, her temper was also shorter. She raised a fist to punch Angie but Nefratiri quickly caught her arm. Physical force was not the way Nefratiri liked to handle things as a hit stung for a time then healed. Mental fists lasted longer and hurt deeper as she well knew. This is the reason she planned to do things the way she did them. “You don’t want a tramp like her to get you booted out of school,” Nefratiri said coldly.

"Butch or whatever she is, she's hot," Mike Smith added in a husky drawl. In return, he received an icy stare from his girlfriend Angie. Tony, Salley’s guy, agreed with Mike but smartly remained quiet.

Nefratiri smiled and flashed her big dark eyes at the small group. She felt good to see Angel again and had the added bonus of already making trouble for the girls. "Hey Angel," the soothing voice of Andrea said as she reached over the dog and took Angel's hand.

"You're right, it's Nefratiri and Andrea," the dark-haired youth spoke with excitement. "We thought you moved too?"

"I didn’t like the school for the blind and came back home after one semester.” Angel explained with a smile. “So I have the teacher that comes twice a week now and helps keep me adapted as she did when we were kids.”

“We should get to class,” Salley offered to the conversation. Angie and Salley were dumbfounded; these were the girls they ridiculed for two years. They knew however, they wouldn't like them now for far different reasons than old clothes with the added wintertime smell of a kerosene heater, which used to permeate from the girls’ clothing.

“I have first hour with you,” Andrea spoke up having glanced at the schedule Angel held in her hand.

“So what say we walk you to class for old time sake,” Nefratiri offered putting her hand on Angel’s elbow as she used to do. She removed it quickly having noticed the dog that now stood on Angel’s left side. “How about the dog walk us all to class,” she said and flashed a smile at the group who stood silently with mouths agape as the three friends walked off.

“Kenny I can’t believe you just stood there and allowed her to walk off with that slut and her sister,” Angie was fuming as she pointed her finger at the marching band drummer. “I guess you were too busy ogling her as well.”

“They’re old friends, chill out would ya?” Tanya Jones offered as she turned and walked briskly after the departing girls.

- - - - - - - - -

The first week at school proved promising for Nefratiri, she had turned many heads and overly flirted with Mike Smith. She was not making many girl friends but the guys seemed to enjoy her company so all was good she thought. “Let’s go, we’re picking Angel up for the game,” Andrea chastised as she shook her head at how tight her sister’s pants were and how revealing the top was. “Aunt Sarah will kill you.”

“Let’s motor,” Nefratiri said and headed out to the car.

As they arrived at Angel’s house, Andrea was still miffed on what they had learned earlier in the day. Though Angel had made some friends, she was often left out of festivities. “Hey David,” Andrea said with a smile as Angel’s 18-year-old brother greeted the girls.

“Wowsers you two have changed,” David said with a sheepish grin on his face. He thought both girls were hot, hormonal pounding hot but could tell he would rather have Andrea’s company, as she seemed a bit more reserved. Two years ago, he would have rather had Nefratiri’s company even if she had a slight boyish way of carrying herself. Now, he was calmer and thought he might like to get to know Andrea. “Ma, the girls are here!” He called as Nancy Mathews made her way to the girls and enveloped them both in a big hug.

“ I’ll go on up and get Angel,” Nefratiri stated and went up the stairs. She felt at home at the Mathews' house just as she had several years ago. “Hey Angel,” she pushed open the door to see that Angel was just getting her shirt on. “Oh, I’m sorry; I never did know how to knock huh.” For a few seconds, Nefratiri was glad Angel couldn’t see her because then she would have known that Nefratiri did not quickly take her eyes away. She had spent many dream-filled nights of Angel being this close, of touching her, kissing her and now she had a chance to look at her topless. She certainly wasn’t going to pass up such an opportunity since it was a moment she once believed she would only get to dream of.

Angel was a 5’2” light brown-haired blue-eyed girl whose mother made certain daily that her makeup was applied well. Angel had taken a lot of time learning how to apply it properly but still needed it looked over because some things are more difficult when one can’t see. She too dressed more casually like Andrea and though wasn’t heavy set, was not as slender as Andrea. Andrea was one of these girls who thought any weight over 105 meant it was time for her to diet. “Here, let me get this,” Nefratiri moved quickly and fixed a small smudge of blush on Angel’s cheek, letting her hand rest on Angel’s shoulder after she finished as she enjoyed the slight contact. “You do this good,” she said commenting on the makeup.

“Thanks,” Angel said with a smile. “I’m so glad you two are home.” Angel had spent many nights alone in her room wishing her friends were still with her. She wondered if they would even still be her friends as they grew up. Time often changed people and sometimes, not for the good. Angel now had the answer to her question and was pleased with it.

“Me too,” Nefratiri said in a soft voice that was reserved solely for her friend. “Hey would you rather hang out here? We don’t have to go to that game if you don’t want. I remember how we used to hang out here when we were kids and play with David’s race car track and have pizza.” Nefratiri hugged her friend as she spoke. She knew in her heart that she’d much rather spend time with Angel than watching Kenny do it. Nefratiri’s unrequited feelings blossomed from a childhood crush and only grew stronger as Nefratiri grew older.

Besides having to hide her feelings for Angel, Nefratiri knew that this town was far too small and narrow-minded to show her sexual preferences. She knew it would most likely make life worse for her than the first time she’d lived here. She hated being closeted but didn’t know of any other option at that time. So she conceded to the notion that she must act accordingly pertaining to what society called normal and dated more than her share of guys. Nefratiri shook her head and smiled. At least she got to have a few secret flings with the girls in Springfield. “Nef let’s go before Kenny gets the wrong idea and thinks you’re moving in on his girl with all the time you’re hogging of hers.” Andrea said with a chuckle from the top of the stairs.

“I guess we should go,” Angel said with a slight blush as she took hold of Sandy’s harness.

Nefratiri smiled at Angel and Sandy. She was glad to see Angel be more independent but longed for the days when she was Angel’s guide. They’d go hand and hand through the school and park because nobody cared if one walked hand and hand as children. Nefratiri flinched outwardly at the memory of Angel’s teacher for the blind commenting that she should hold to her elbow lightly. She had said that when the girls grew older, if they walked hand and hand, people would assume terrible things. Being gay wasn’t a terrible thing; Nefratiri recalled thinking even at such a young age. She complied with the teacher’s request however, so as not to cause Angel any discomfort. “Yeah I guess we should,” Nefratiri said as she followed Angel out of the room. How she wished she could tell Andrea she did want to move in on Kenny’s girl but shrugged it off as another misfortune in her life.

- - - - - - - - -

The first football game of the season droned along uneventfully minus the goings on of the game. Nefratiri was a little cozy with Drake Fisk, a senior who was on the outs with his girlfriend. Erica was a very pissed off girlfriend and planned to stop the girl before she got too much of a foothold at the school. Actually, the coziness was a bit much; it could have been classified as a public display of major making out.

“What’s on the go?” Tanya asked Kenny and his out of town friend who was her date for the night as they came up to the girls after the game.

“I thought we might go out for pizza,” Kenny said as he leaned down to give Angel a small kiss but took a side-glance at Andrea who seemed more interested in getting out of there than anything else. “I’m not so sure we’ll all fit in the truck though,” Kenny frowned as he looked at Sandy. Andrea took notice of his actions and gave him a distasteful look.

“I’ll drive Angel and Sandy over,” Andrea offered as she gave Kenny an all-knowing warning look. “Nef, are you coming with us?”

“Nah, I will catch a ride with him.” She pointed at Drake and flashed him a smile. She didn’t really want to watch Angel and Kenny getting on with the closeness so decided to distance herself for now. She also wanted to keep her anger in check, she had saw Kenny checking her sister out and wasn’t ready to start any trouble over it for fear Angel would side with him. She couldn’t bear to lose Angel’s friendship now, not after so long apart.

Andrea shrugged her shoulders and had Sandy follow her to her aunt’s car. She had a sinking feeling that Nefratiri was not going to deal with all the trials life had put upon them in such a good way. She only hoped she kept her head half way on her shoulders but feared she wouldn’t. “So Angel, how long have you been with Kenny?” Andrea probed not liking the guy at all.

“Just two weeks,” Angel replied. “He’s my first real boyfriend not counting the kid ones.” Angel lowered her head. Though she had a decent social life it wasn’t up to the standards of a sighted person and that did make her feel sad often times.

“Nef gets enough guys for her and me both so I don’t date much myself.” Andrea chuckled both trying to keep a light conversation and get Angel’s view on her sister. She reached over and squeezed Angel’s hand having noticed her change of demeanor. “Angel, we’re here now, you will never have to worry about a lack of being treated normal again. I promise you that.”

Angel smiled at Andrea; she truly held this girl dear to her heart and remembered fondly a conversation they had once had. It was a few days before the girls were to move; Andrea hugged Angel tightly as they cried. She told Angel that if there were ever a chance that she would get to give Angel her eyes, she would gladly do it so Angel could see. That stuck with Angel from that moment on and always would because she knew Andrea meant it. “She’s a lot different from when we were kids but I suppose we all change.” Angel said. Though she was comfortable with the girls, she didn’t want to say anything that might rock the boat being as they had just met up again, therefore chose her words carefully.

“She sure has, she’s a little careless sometimes in her thinking.” Andrea offered with a distant tone in her voice. A tone that Angel knew was thinking of a lifelong-gone where all the three had to worry about was getting up on time for school, not missing Saturday morning cartoons and loving pizza.

“If there is anything I can do to help wind her back in from time to time, just let me know.” Angel said and Andrea knew she would if Nefratiri would listen.

- - - - - - - - -

Angel got back home just after midnight and was relaxing in her room. She had a nice time with Kenny and her friends but mostly talked with Andrea whom she was glad to have back in her life. She and Andrea had a great friendship and both had taken on a protective roll with Nefratiri and a concern for how she was handling her life. Angel longed for the simpler days in which the girls were always together laughing and having fun but knew those days were gone. She only wished Nefratiri would realize those days were gone and learn to deal with life in a more productive fashion but something told her that would not happen anytime soon.

Angel shook her head in an effort to stop thinking so much and relax. She was very glad to see that the girls seemed to tolerate Andrea when Nefratiri wasn’t around but that didn’t matter to Angel. She knew she always was and always would be Nefratiri’s friend; that she would stick up for the girl even when she was wrong because that’s what best friends did.

Her mind drifted back to that first day she met the girls. All the kids were out on the playground for recess. There were some kids chanting, “Nefie go home and save your pennies, Nefie needs a bath and new coat. Nefie has cooties.” Of course Nefratiri was not dirty, just had old clothes that had seen better days.

Angel listened for the sounds and made her way to the crowd of kids. She got a tinge of Kerosene smell and wondered if that was why the bathing comments were made. Her father owned the town gas station so Angel knew that smell to be one that some people used to heat their homes. It wasn’t a strong smell but Angel knew that it was a smell left behind when heating with a kerosene heater. Her father had explained such things to her when she went to work with him one afternoon. She didn’t know the name of the girl but went with what the kids had said. “Nefie, I think you have my coat.” Angel said then took her own nice new coat off and handed it to the other little girl. The gesture caused Nefratiri to quench back tears; she was picked on enough and didn’t want them to see her cry.

As the kids scattered and laughed, a teacher smiled at Angel’s goodhearted gesture. “Nef, give her back her coat,” another little girl called.

“No, its hers now,” Angel said and put Nefratiri’s old coat on. That was the beginning of a great friendship, which Angel would cherish for the rest of her life.

A pecking sound withdrew Angel from her reverie as she lie on her bed. She pressed the button on her clock that promptly spoke the time of 1:45 AM. She wasn’t sure of what to do but edged closer to the window. She had warned Kenny not to pull any stunts like that, as he would not get in. Angel respected her parents as they did her and having boys in bedrooms late at night was not allowed. “Hey Angel,” came the familiar voice of Nefratiri.

Angel felt panic for an instant in wonderment of why Nefratiri was at her window so late but regained her composure and slid the window open. “What are you doing at the window?” Angel spoke in a low voice, as she coaxed Sandy to be quiet.

“Can I come in?” Nefratiri asked but knew she would be invited in as she could always count on Angel. “I called and told Sarah I was here so it’s all good.”

Angel moved away from the window and motioned Nefratiri to come in. Little did she know this would be an ongoing occasion throughout the remainder of their high school days. “Now tell me what’s going on?” Angel asked as she closed the window and wished she could see. If she were able to see, she would be able to better gauge the situation was her line of thinking.

“I went to this party with Drake and had a few drinks then got high.” Nefratiri didn’t plan to tell what she’d done but the one person she could never lie to was Angel. “I didn’t want the speech I got before we moved here. Sarah caught me with red eyes and started in on telling me that I was going to end up like mom if I didn’t knock the recklessness off.”

“Is that what you fear Nef?” Angel asked sadly. She knew she would not lecture nor judge however, as Nefratiri didn’t need that, she needed a friend and knew where to find one.

“You know Angel,” Nefratiri began softly. “I wish I could be like Andrea and let it all go. I know she hasn’t let it go but she doesn’t let bad things rule her life as I do. I feel so empty inside and that I don’t belong anywhere. So I party, get all the guys I want but you know it’s not me Angel. I don’t really know who me is sometimes. I guess it’s all part of growing up and I’ll be all right someday but I know I will never be like my mother because I will not have children. I won’t put myself in that position.” Nefratiri wished she could spill it all and tell Angel she was a lesbian who went with the flow rather than be brave and come out to the world but she couldn’t. “Angel, you do know the act I put on isn’t really me don’t you?” Nefratiri’s voice showed fear for the first time in a long time. The last thing she wanted was for Angel to think badly of her.

“You belong somewhere Nefratiri,” Angel said and quenched back tears for her friend. “Right here with your best friend. Of course, I know it’s not you Nef, I remember your tears, your pain and how you used to try to joke to hide it. You’re more grown up now and are hiding it in a different way but you never have to hide it with me.”

“You’re my rock Angel,” Nefratiri said and placed her hand on Angel’s arm. “You don’t know what you did for Andrea and I all those years ago when you accepted us. Last year I was strung out on acid and wanted to end my life. I was standing on a bridge then I thought of you and I couldn’t do it. It was like you were there telling me to smarten up.”

“I only did what you both did for me. It didn’t matter to you that I couldn’t see; you didn’t treat me differently. The friends I have now are good and they like me but it’s not the same as you two.” Angel said as Nefratiri pulled her into a firm hug. A hug that would last for several minutes and produce many tears, tears that Nefratiri vowed only Angel would know existed.

“Well we’re all back together now, no matter what or how stupid I get.” Nefratiri said as she released Angel from the hug, having so wished she could hug her like that all night and tell her how she felt.

“That’s right, no matter what.” Angel echoed with a smile. “Now you get some sleep.”

“Yeah I think I can now,” Nefratiri said with a smile as she took off her boots and jacket to ready herself for sleep, as she would do many times in this fashion throughout high school.

- - - - - - - - -

This is how it would continue throughout their high school days. Nefratiri continuously snagged the guys, drugs and booze and Angel was always there to comfort her. Andrea was always there for them both and had to prove it many times by helping Angel with Kenny and Nefratiri with physical fights that angry classmates would start. Through it all, the girls remained close friends and by the time graduation rolled around it was ending just as it had started. Angel, though she probably should not have, rejected friend after friend for Nefratiri and Andrea. The more Nefratiri screwed around with the guys, the more girls disliked her and though she was in the wrong, the more Angel proved herself a true friend and stayed by her side.

It is said that all things come to an end. That is precisely what happened after graduation. Angel was going off to Michigan State for business classes, Andrea to New York in pursuit of a journalism career and so Nefratiri decided it was time to go also.

She went to a small college in Chicago where she came out of the closet, went to school and began her career in business. She also continued the drinking however as she had not found her place in life, that place of healing and ability to allow ones self to know happiness.

Chapter Three

Nefratiri awoke the next morning with a pounding headache. She had no time to deal with that or contemplate her youthful memories; it was time to get back to 1999 and the rat race of her business. She showered quickly, guzzled down a hot cup of tea and raced to her office. "Good morning Ms. Adams," her secretary Vivian said cheerily. "You have a lot of documents to sign today and Trent wants to know why you are putting the bank take over in the pool for the other VP's to fight over."

Trent Leighman was CEO of the conglomerate Nefratiri had worked with for the last nine years. He had a vast array of businesses in his holdings and seemed to trust her more than the VP's who had been there much longer. "I have to get this software company finalized and some other loose ends to tie up. Did you get me that information on the news paper and cosmetics operations in Centerville?" Nefratiri asked as she glanced over her list of duties for the day.

"Yes ma'am but the paper doesn't seem to be something Trent would be interested in," Vivian said in a matter of fact tone. "The majority stock holder, Angela Simons-Prat, owns 42% only though so it could be ripe for the pickings. It is a small paper though and," Nefratiri abruptly left for her office before Vivian could finish. Vivian was used to this from the dark-haired beauty, as one could never tell her mood. If she weren't such a brilliant businesswoman, Trent would not have kept her around because of the moodiness.

- - - - - - - - -

Nefratiri rushed through her work of the morning and began doing some calculations on the Centerville Tribune during her lunch hour. "Ms. Adams," a tall just out of college man said as he pushed open her door. "Viv said you wanted to see me and I assumed it was about the stock?" Nefratiri just nodded so the man continued. “The net worth of the paper is not much as it only comes out twice a week. Marcia made some surrounding area calls to advertisers who would be interested in giving the paper their business if it circulated more and had other content besides news. Right now the stock is decent priced; you can own 20% of the paper today for $7,254 which leaves a possible 38% up for grabs.”

“That’s too much to leave open ended, the primary owner could buy it up before it hits the market.” Nefratiri got out her checkbook and wrote a check out to the man. “I want you to buy up this stock under this account that I have set up. I don’t want anyone to know what I’m doing until I go home for Christmas. Then I want you to find the next two highest stock holders and get them on the phone for me.” She gave the man a dismissive look and he walked out as she picked up the phone. “Hey An, how are things going there in New York?”

“It’s a rat race here, I’m not moving up in the ranks very fast but doing my job. It’s all a little discouraging with the divorce and all but I’m hanging in there.” Andrea said as she tapped her computer keyboard.

“What would you say if I tossed you a bone? I’m looking into buying the Centerville Tribune and turning it into a daily newspaper with some national columns and advertisements added in. I will need a chief editor.”

Andrea had no idea how that could be pulled off with such a small town paper but having covered a few of her sister’s business ventures for her own publication, she knew if anyone could do it, Nefratiri could. “If you buy it I will come,” she said with a smile and the two women hung up the phone.

- - - - - - - - -

It was 10:00PM that night and Nefratiri was in a heavy make out session with her latest fling when her phone rang. “This better be good,” she spoke briskly.

“It is Ms. Adams; this is Warren from the office. The second highest stock holder owns 15% of the paper and is on the line.”

Nefratiri quickly excused herself from the room. “Good, put him on conference call.”

In the brief call Nefratiri learned that Mike Smith, whom she stole away from Angela in their school days, owned said stock. After a quick negotiation and the promise of a better job for him, Nefratiri got his stock dirt-cheap. A fact that she was glad of, as she really didn’t want to plunk every dime she had into this project.

Angela caused her more trouble than most anyone in high school and put Angel in the hospital for two days. She had told Angel the hall was clear when it was not. Angel ended up several stitches in her head and a bad concussion. Nefratiri Shuddered visibly at the memory of Angel being hurt just because Angela didn’t like Nefratiri. Nefratiri didn’t like playing silly childhood games anymore but felt it was justifiably fine for her to pay Angela back where it hurt, the pocket and pride.

“Nefratiri,” the young woman said quietly. “Do you need me to go?”

Nefratiri glanced in the mirror and what stared back at her was a ruthless businesswoman who was alone and unhappy. She wondered if that would ever change or if she would spend her life building riches for herself, as Trent had done. “No, it’s all good now.” She said and pulled the petite blonde to her then began kissing her feverishly. As she took the making out to the next level, she wondered if she would ever get Angel out of her mind. If not, would she end up haunted by her presence until she was a cold-hearted old person as Heathcliff from the popular old book, Weathering Heights, grew to be without his love.

Two days later, Mike had bought up all but Angie's stock for Nefratiri. This sealed the deal; Nefratiri Adams thus became the majority stockholder in the Centerville Tribune. He had told her that Angie was beside herself for allowing things to go downhill so quickly but willing to meet the new majority owner and had hopes she would be allowed to remain editor and chief. With a smile on her face, Nefratiri picked up the phone. “Hey An, pack your bags, we’re going home,” was all she said before she hung up.

Warren entered the office with a stack of documents just after she hung up the phone. “You own 12% of Mussler Cosmetics Ms. Adams and I’m in negotiation with two family members so it could be higher than that by the end of the day.”

“Warren, my question is will you be hopping on board with me as I start up NDA Enterprises?” She held out the proper documents that she had just signed for the license of the name. “We have a paper, soon a cosmetics company and a software company Mr. Leighman sold in return for the owners to get him into some crazy soft drink business.”

Warren’s face displayed a flabbergasted look as he realized Nefratiri single-handedly swiped a promising company out from under Mr. Leighman. She was the one who brought the idea to the table for Mr. Leighman to sell the company six months ago and handled the deal from day one with Warren doing her legwork. He was amazed that he had worked so closely with her on this deal and was none the wiser of her behind the scenes actions. “Ms. Adams, you play dirty,” he said with a look of admiration on his face. “Of course I’m coming with you. I don’t want to be here when you come after Mr. Leighman. What I want to know is how you got the guts to become so ruthless and underhanded.”

“I had the best teachers one could have Warren, life and Mr. Leighman.” Nefratiri said as Warren took notice of the sadness held deep within her eyes. “Now, get moving on that cosmetics company and I need to get the deal sealed to move the software company to Centerville. It will be best if we have all our start up companies in one area.” As Warren left the room, Nefratiri put a satisfied look on her face. If she couldn’t be with Angel, she would have everything else she wanted in life. Money, power, revenge on those who wronged her plus the added bonus of being the one to help Centerville spread its wings a bit. Nefratiri knew her line of thinking wasn’t the most positive but she really wasn’t a bad person, just business savvy.

Ten days later, with a badly depleted bank account and Warren by her side Nefratiri Adams stepped out of a cab in Centerville Michigan. “Well we’re home Mr. Vice president of NDA enterprises.”

“What does NDA stand for exactly?” Warren asked, as he looked his notes Nefratiri had prepared for him over and Saw her name. He shook his head and smiled.

“Let’s motor,” she said and returned the smile.

The two had lunch at one of the nicer eateries in town then headed for the local hotel to give the press conference. Nefratiri waited in the back room with the other designated staff members she had already assembled as Warren began.

“Ladies and gentlemen of the press my name is Warren Kepler and I’d like to thank you all for coming today. As you know, some major business moves have been made that will affect this town in a positive way in the near future. I am the current VP of NDA Enterprises and am glad to announce what is forthcoming.” Warren stood proud and tall as he spoke. He knew his boss was smiling and very proud of him. He felt great to be involved in such ventures at the age of twenty-three and would do whatever possible not to let Nefratiri down. He also would never turn on her as she did Mr. Leighman because without her, he would be nowhere. He had the suspicion that this was not the case with Nefratiri at all. He believed she would have accomplished what she had planned one way or the other. “First of all, NDA Enterprises will be buying the old Mathiford Inn for the new home of the three companies it owns. The original two buildings that once housed the newspaper and Cosmetics company have been sold to other new shop keepers.” Warren received applause for the first announcement as the towns occupants in attendance knew this meant more income for the town.

“The Boyd Electronics video game company, graciously named after my brother who was tragically killed at a young age, will be headed up by Michael Smith and David Adams formerly of the Centerville Tribune and David is a computer game programmer with vast experience in the field.” The two men stepped out of the back room and waved at the large gathering of people who gave a big round of applause. “This will bring nearly twenty-five new jobs to the area at start up.”

“Most excitedly for you all perhaps is the overhauling of the Tribune. The new name will be Centerville Daily and bring close to twenty new jobs to the area, all employees minus the editor and chief, Angela Simons-Prat, will be kept on staff. The new editor is a well-experienced journalist from New York, Andrea Adams!” There were many cheers but many murmurings from the crowd as she stepped out. The look on Angela’s face told it all, she was so angry she could have killed someone on this day.

“Next, Mussler Cosmetics majority shares have been bought up, the company will be headed up by Tanya Jones and I until a suitable person can fill my roll. Fifteen new jobs will be filled at start up due to expansion minus the director of sales, Salley Mussler and other persons of said family who do not wish to keep their jobs. The Company will be renamed, Angel Cosmetics.” The crowd cheered again as Tanya stepped out of the back room.

Aunt Sarah stood in the crowd both feeling proud of her nieces and dismayed. She knew Nefratiri was doing great things for herself and the town. She also knew Nefratiri had underlying motives for some of her decisions made. Motives that should have been let go many years ago. It was for this reason that Sarah was torn between happy tears and sorrow-filled tears. She wished she could find Nina and let her see what a monster she had helped create. Monster was perhaps a harsh word as Sarah knew Nefratiri was a good person deep down. Also, by the speech the young man was giving, Nefratiri rewarded those who were good to her abundantly. “My poor poor Nefie,” Sarah said in a teary whisper as she wondered if anyone could save her niece now.

“Now ladies and gentlemen, without further adieu let me introduce you to the founder and CEO of NDA enterprises, Ms. Nefratiri Danielle Adams!” The crowd stood on their feet and clapped with several shock-faced people and a few very upset women.

“Thank you very much, it is great to be home again and working with the good citizens of this town in an effort to help it expand and prosper.” As she briefly spoke, she looked right in the eyes of first Salley then Angela before regarding the entire crowd. She felt triumphant and well satisfied with the knowledge that she was well on her way to having almost everything she wanted in life. “I am looking forward to being involved in ventures that will raise the employment and economic level here. It is a great pleasure of mine to be working with the newly elected Mayor Jackson Mathews.” She smiled at Angel’s father who she had given a large campaign donation to in his election bid as she walked off the podium. For the last nine years, Nefratiri had carefully calculated her every move including proper funding and it was paying off today. She had worked hard all her life to be respected, get revenge and make a name for herself. No matter how it was done, today she had all these things but lacked the thing she wanted most for so many years.

“Everyone, Ms. Adams has made arrangements for a celebration for those who wish to stay in the hotel lounge, so enjoy and I for one am glad to be part of this little community.” Warren concluded and stepped off the podium as well.

- - - - - - - - -

The celebration was in full swing when someone tapped Nefratiri on the shoulder. She had been talking with Tanya, who gave her many high school nights of secret sex and turned to see Trent Leighman standing before her. She wasn’t prepared to face him just yet and knew problems were about to happen before the glory of victory had really set in. “Ms. Adams,” the aging man said with a tight smile. “I knew you wouldn’t stay with me forever and in way of thanks for not robbing me on your way out, here in this folder is the rest of the shares from the Mussler cosmetics company. You are almost the sole owner of NDA Enterprises my dear and I look forward to competing with you someday. I’m also glad to see you used that big paycheck and bonuses I gave you very well indeed.”

Nefratiri looked at the man questioningly wondering how he knew she had bought the company. “Nefratiri, I had no idea what you were doing until yesterday. I received your letter of resignation then got word you had bought a few more shares in my business so I pieced it together. You know, I had an Angel as well, I just hope your Angel comes home to you and you might have a chance to keep some of that good heart you do still have. I saw what you did for those who did right by you and minus the software company; you always did right by me. Besides, that soft drink company will make me a bundle so you didn’t set out to hurt me.” He drew her in a big hug as he finished speaking. “I’m going to miss you girl; I hope you find your peace someday Ms. Adams.” He said and walked off.

“He’s right Nef,” aunt Sarah said quietly. “You have a good heart, you really do, I’m begging you now, please don’t let the fast lane ruin it.”

“It’s all good ma,” Nefratiri said and the tears did flow from Sarah’s eyes. Nefratiri had never regarded her as ma before and she knew now that, no matter what, she had done well by the girl. “Is Angel coming home for Christmas?” Nefratiri asked her aunt with a smile.

Chapter Four

Nefratiri awoke Christmas Eve morning in her old familiar bed at Aunt Sarah's house. She felt the high of the night before but today was the day she would get to see Angel and that only added to her high. She knew Angel was with Kenny and they had a 3-year-old son named Joshua but that didn't matter. She was certain she would never allow another person into her heart as she did Angel.

All the years of struggling had finally paid off for the dark-haired CEO and she should have been bouncing off the walls with joy but she wasn't. Granted she was thrilled with her material accomplishments and the pay back's she continually distributed but none of that would give her the euphoric high waking up next to Angel would give. She was resigned to the notion that she would never experience such a high. All of the hard work, the people trouncing, and the sneaky tactics used to achieve the material goals she set for herself couldn't win her Angel. She had thought once or twice about playing dirty to get Angel in her life on a more intimate level but just couldn't go that rout.

During the moments when Angel’s best interest came to mind, Nefratiri was reminded she did have a heart. The moments when she did a good task for someone who had done her right reminded her of this also. She knew it wouldn’t pain her to jerk anyone minus Angel and her family around however. Angel was the constant reminder that there still was a lost little girl inside this shrewd businesswoman and part of Nefratiri hated that. She didn’t want to care, to feel compassion and to love but she did and it was all because Angel touched that lost little girl’s inner being.

Carla Anderson, the woman in whom she sought sexual pleasure from over the last two months, was a nice enough lady. She was easy to talk with and understanding but by no means came close to getting as firm a place in her heart as Angel had. She rolled over, watched the snowfall briefly, and made a decision.

She picked her cell phone up off its charger and dialed a number. “Hey Carla, I just called to wish you a merry Christmas and ask if you would like to join me here on New Years Eve.” Nefratiri spoke as she stretched her body into the land of the living state. She made a quick decision to try to at least have some semblance of a life and hoped she could stick with it. It would do her no good to sit and pine for something she could never have.

“Wow, I thought I would never get to hear from you again Nefie,” Carla Anderson smiled. “Of course I’d love to join you.” Carla’s big blue eyes flashed with excitement. She had always thought Nefratiri had no real interest in her but to invite her such a distance from Chicago, perhaps Carla thought wrong. She always liked Nefratiri, but who wouldn’t as the woman had it all. She had great looks, and fun spontaneity, a brilliant mind and loved to lavish her partner of the time with expensive wine and dancing.

“Great, I’ll have my assistant make the arrangements and he’ll get back with you.” Nefratiri concluded her call with a shrug.

"Nefratiri," a soft unmistakable voice called from the other side of the door. "Are you in there?"

Nefratiri jumped out of bed and threw some clothes on then opened the door. There, in front of her, stood the object of her dreams, Angel. "Hey Angel," she said in a sleepy voice as she drew the woman into a tight embrace. "God I've missed you so much and you haven't changed at all."

"I wish I could say the same about you but I have this little eye problem." Angel smiled as both women laughed. "Kenny and Josh are in the car but I wanted to come to see you for a minute before we went to mom's."

"No dog?" Nefratiri asked not wanting to discuss Kenny. How she loathed the man because he had what she wanted most of all, Angel's heart.

"I was too broken hearted when Sandy died so I started using the cane again." Angel explained being glad, that was a true statement when Sandy first died at least. Nefratiri shrugged as she placed her hand on the back of Angel’s arm to guide her down the stairs as she did so many times in years past.

"Really?" Nefratiri questioned as the two headed down the stairs. She wondered if Kenny decided not to get another dog. After all, it seemed to have hampered his style in high school.

“I heard you have been shaking things up in this little town.” Angel commented not wanting to discuss Kenny either. She didn’t like not being forthcoming with her lifelong friend but now wasn’t the time to go into such things. In edition, she did love Kenny and didn’t want Nefratiri to grow overly upset and make waves.

“You heard right,” Nefratiri said proudly. “How long will you be staying in town? I would like to catch up if there is time.” Nefratiri spoke in a casual tone with a worried look on her face.

“Kenny’s parents want him to stay till the New Years party but I’m not sure he wants to.” Angel replied as the horn was heard. “I better get going and will call you when I know for sure how long we are here.”

Before Angel could unfold her cane, Nefratiri took hold of her arm again and guided her to the car. “It’s been great seeing you Angel,” she said as she opened the door for her and flashed her big brown eyes at Kenny. She knew he didn’t like her to well but the feeling was mutual so she didn’t really care. She just tried to remain cordial with him for Angel’s sake.

As she walked back towards the house, Nefratiri wondered if Carla would be able to get her out of this slump. It seemed the only times she didn’t feel empty inside were when she was wheeling and dealing and around Angel. She shrugged her shoulders and told herself there would be no bottle tonight out of respect for Sarah. “Nef, what’s on the go?” Andrea asked as she walked out on the porch.

“Not much, I was just thinking that Angel doesn’t quite seem herself anymore.” Nefratiri said with a downcast look on her face.

“You’re right about that,” Andrea said as she gauged her sister’s mood. “She’s been with Kenny a long time and though we neither care for him, maybe we should stay out of it. Keep the fix it antenna’s turned off Nef.”

“We’ll see An. I was thinking if I could keep them in the area that I could see that she’s all right.” Andrea shrugged her shoulders at her sister, she knew once Nefratiri got an idea in her head there was no talking her out of it.

- - - - - - - - -

Sarah’s house was buzzing with people on Christmas day. Her son Doug and his wife Sue with their twin toddlers, her daughter Clare with her husband to be Ron and her boyfriend Roy with his daughter were all readying for a good meal and presents along with Nefratiri and Andrea. “You need any help?” Andrea called out to Aunt Sarah who was hustling about in the kitchen. “Nef is in a mood of sorts and not being very helpful I see.”

“Nef isn’t here,” Doug said as he waved his new camera around. He took a photographer’s position at the paper and was overly excited with the prospect of having a new gadget.

As the dinner preparations were being made at the house, Nefratiri sat in her car. She was going to drop over to see Angel for a few minutes to give her a gift and tell her the news that could break their friendship. She wanted to tell the family but hoped she would get to tell Angel first. Nefratiri had no plans of going back in the closet ever again so wanted all the cards to be out on the table.

She pulled in the Mathew’s drive and sat there for a minute. She was glad Angel had phoned earlier to let her know they were staying a couple of days and that it would be fine to drop off her gift. “Here goes nothing,” Nefratiri smiled and got out of the car.

“Hi boss lady,” was Dave Mathews’ greeting as he opened the door. “Kenny has gone to his mom’s for a few so you want to come in or shall I just get Angel?”

“She’s coming this way but thanks anyway.” Nefratiri replied as Angel stepped around Dave. “Wanna come out here for a minute?”

“Sure,” Angel replied as Dave moved to let her through the door. He watched the two head for the car and wondered just what it was Nefratiri was interested in.

Nefratiri guided Angel in the car then got in as well. She started the car and drove for a few minutes. “It’s really pretty out here at the park.” She commented as she recollected fondly how she and Angel used to love going to the park in the snow. “I was just thinking of the times we had out here like when I started showing you how to know colors.” Nefratiri said and touched Angel’s hand.

“That was very creative as a child for you to do that.” Angel said too remembering how well Nefratiri did at explaining. “You did a lot for me Nef, both you and Andrea did.”

“As you did for me Angel,” Nefratiri said. She wished she could take Angel in her arms and show her rather than tell her of her sexual preference. “I brought you out here because it is a special place for us. I have something very important I plan to tell everyone but I wanted to tell you first.”

“Are you getting married or having a baby?” Angel asked with a smile on her face. Often fearing the worst, with a tinge of panic in her voice, Angel asked, “are you doing all right?”

“I’ll be all right if you are still my friend once I say what I have to say.” Nefratiri began as she searched her brain for just the right words but wasn’t sure if they existed.

“Nef I will always be your friend,” Angel said softly. “Look if this is about Andrea, Dave told me and said she was afraid to say anything. She thought you might be upset that she was thinking of letting Bob have the baby when it is born.” Nefratiri’s eyes bulged out and her face went blank with shock. “She’s a lot like you Nefie, she is afraid to have children because she will end up like your mom.”

Nefratiri’s hands shook as she recalled how brutal their mom was when they were children. She shook her head and tried to allow the images to hide back away in the depths of her mind. “Nefie,” Angel’s soft touch caused the dark-haired girl to jerk back. “Nef, are you all right?” Angel said as the panic inside her began to well up and make her chest feel tight.

“Yeah Angel,” Nefratiri placed her hand on Angel’s arm. “I’m all right, that just brought back a bad memory.”

“I’m sorry Nef,” Angel moved the girl into a big hug. “I didn’t know you still had those flashbacks, did you ever tell anyone about them?” Angel said as she recalled that, during their childhood, and on through Nefratiri’s dope induced high school days, she spent many nights wiping tears and hugging her best friend. Nefratiri would often have flashbacks of their bad times with their mother and it always shook her up badly.

“No Angel, only you,” Nefratiri said as she relaxed in Angel’s embrace. She always did relax around Angel who was, as she said to her many times, her rock.

“Do you have these often Nef?” Angel asked with a concerned expression on her face. She knew her friend was in trouble in a big way back in their high school days but assumed she had overcome her troubles. She had heard so much good that Nefratiri was accomplishing in her life that she believed she was finally at peace with herself. She now knew that was far from the case.

“No Angel,” Nefratiri said and that was the truth. The only reason, most likely, that she didn’t have them often was because she drank her nights away most times. “I’m all right really Angel,” that was a bold-faced lie and Nefratiri knew it. She wasn’t about to ruin her friend’s holiday however so chose to lie.

“Nef, you and Andrea are close; don’t let this baby thing come between you. I think you should encourage her to keep it unless she isn’t dealing so well either.”

“I’ll talk with her Angel.” Nefratiri said as she pulled out of the embrace that she yearned to stay in for an eternity.

She also had now decided against telling Angel about her sexual preference at this time. “Look, give Kenny this.” Nefratiri handed Angel a sheet of paper. “I heard he does well in the shipping department where he works. I would like to offer him a position as head of shipping department at NDA Enterprises. If he accepts the offer, I’m certain I can find a position for you as well seeing as you are great with computers and went to business school.”

Angel had wished she and Kenny could move home for quite some time and now the perfect opportunity for them to do so was handed to her. “He’ll be concerned about the pay I’m sure, he’s money hungry.” Angel said flatly.

“It’s double what he makes now,” Nefratiri said and patted her friends leg. “I know you didn’t want to leave here so I checked things out and hopefully gave him an offer he can’t refuse.”

“From what I hear, nobody can refuse you Nefie.” Angel said with a small chuckle.”

“I only wish that were true,” Nefratiri mumbled as she started the car. In truth, there was only one person she wished could not refuse her but that was not to be. Therefore, she would see if she could find some semblance of happiness with Carla Anderson.

- - - - - - - - -

Nefratiri got back to Aunt Sarah’s close to an hour after she dropped Angel off. The smells of Christmas dinner greeted her as she stepped inside the house. She was in no mood for dinner though, due to Angel mistakenly revealing to her Andrea’s secret. How Andrea could think Nefratiri would think badly of her was beyond the dark-eyed woman’s understanding. The two sisters had been through a lot together and never thought badly of each other. Nefratiri knew Andrea was good with children and much stronger than she was in that department. She hoped she could shake some sense into her before it was too late. “Hey guys, it looks like I’m a bit late.” Nefratiri said as she took a seat at the table.

“You look a little glum Nefie,” Sarah pointed out.

“I’m fine,” Nefratiri replied as she half-filled her plate.

Andrea noticed Nefratiri barely ate any dinner and followed her up to her room once she too had finished. “All right Nef, what’s on the go?” Andrea asked as she sat down on the edge of the bed Nefratiri was stretched languidly out on.

“I went to see Angel today and planned on telling her something. She mistakenly thought it was your secret.” Nefratiri said as Andrea flinched. “An, we’ve been through thick and thin together and I’ve never judged you. I can’t understand why you would want to give your child to that jerk though.”

“I don’t want to do it Nef,” Andrea said in exasperation. “I’m scared to death to keep it though. I, like you, do not want to screw up and be like our mother.” Andrea kept her eyes towards the floor as she spoke. This was a decision she had thought long and hard on but still wavered on the choice she had made.

“An, you are nothing like mom.” Nefratiri spoke softly. “You never got into drugs, you rarely drink, and you have it all together for the most part. Me, I’m the one like our mother, the one who can’t go through a night without a drink, can’t go through a week without a meaningless fling and can’t go through a month without plotting some fucked up revenge plot on some asshole who treated me wrong in my past. You have mothered me and even Angel since I can remember and done it quite well. Don’t let her screw your life up any longer, keep that child and give him or her the love you gave me through my stupidity and tears.”

“If you’re so bent on me giving this a go, why can’t you try to straighten up your own life?” Andrea questioned with a tinge of anger, as she knew Nefratiri was right.

“It’s not in the cards for me because I’m so messed up An and you know it. How many times did you and Angel rescue me from my own self-destruction? How many times did you warn me who I would be like? Don’t you think I listened to you An?” Nefratiri reached out and cuffed her sister’s chin in her hand. “An, follow your gut as I do. I know where mine is leading me and so do you. Just go with it and you will make it.”

“Maybe so but Nef, your gut won’t lead you anywhere that you won’t allow it to. You could stop all this behavior, look at you, such a success yet such a waste. What I mean by that is, you’re allowing yourself to die inside, which is a waist, we can’t see the real Nefratiri any more and it is all your doing.” Andrea saw the jerky look in her sister’s eyes and knew she either pissed her off or hit home.

“What you see is Me An, I’m a drunk because it stops my pain. I’m a great businessperson thus far because I let my pain drive me. I have flings because it’s easier than feeling the pain of not having who I want.” Nefratiri stood from the bed feeling that the promise of no bottle was out the window. “I am who I am because I let our mother mold me unlike you.”

“Nef, who is it you want, why can’t you go after them as you do everything else in life? You’re very good at getting who you want and what you want.” Andrea spoke with realization that her sister was in just as bad of shape as she was in school if not worse.

“You really want to know An? I can’t have who I want because it is Angel.” Before she could get a reaction from the stunned sister, Nefratiri turned and walked out the door.
