Is it so Wrong?

Copyright © by Bardaholic, June 28, 2009

Is it so wrong --
To always think about her;
To want to be near to her;
To want to hold her close?

Is it so wrong --
To long to hear her laughter;
To long to see her smile;
To want to be the cause of these?

Is it so wrong --
To wish for no one else around her;
To wish to be the only one for her;
To want to be alone with her?

Is it so wrong --
To do whatever may be necessary
To make each of her dreams come true;
To want to make her happy?

Is it so wrong --
To pray for courage so I may tell her; or
To try to hide it from her;
To keep from losing her friendship?

Is it so wrong --
To be in love with her, and
To dream of the day when I might find
She feels the same?

This is the first time I’ve ever really written a Poem, and I didn’t put much thought into it – It kinda just came out   :)
Therefore, I’d really appreciate any feedback, good, bad or otherwise.
