Monochrome hair at first sight
Soft like fur when touched by lips
Winter tones and night shades
In closer light
I bend to kiss
Conversation of serious hue
Expressive mouth, husky voice
Watch the movement of your face
Eyes melt to polar blue
I make a choice
Connections deep, playful moves
Luminescent eyes warm to azure
Golden skin lit by dancing smiles
My heart chooses
I want you
The burden of passion
The burden of passion lies
Heavy, unyielding
Matched by the pain behind
The light in your eyes
This burning inside weighs against
Marital ties
Inspire my aching soul
With your cooling fire
Words please me
Contact excites me
Longing teases me
Desire ignites me
I want to..
Soothe your heart
Worship your mind
Soften your body
Against mine
In the grip of the tease
Tossed in turbulent seas
Swimming strong against the tide
A way to survive
I decide
Sinking under crashing surf
Reaching down to wet earth
Skin bleeds with salt’s knife
Glistening red with new life
Riding the luminous swell
Pushing up from death’s knell
Rapt with love on soft sand
Soul’s elixir
I understand
