My heart dances
in the moment
memories
of you fill my
imagination
with lustful desires
and I feel
myself
dizzy with
anticipation
of when we will
meet again
Autumn breaks gently
into the time
where I stand
Unbeknownst to me
the tides cease
with the wisp of
a hand...
Someone who cares
for me and more
lays sleeping
silently
near my door
waiting
anticipating
when we will embrace
again
inside this fairy's lore
Consider the moment
a splitting second
a whispered nuance
in which time
cascades
into undeniable
desire...
Imagine the whisper
the soft embrace
the tender kisses
that softly trail
into undeniable
passion..
Dream of
possibilities
whispering emotions
are often not heard
in a world where
screechers and harpies
spew forth
venomous tirades
blaming me
I guess my inadequacies
are just too
prevalent
and anything I might
want to share
escapes
into the blare of discontent
I wanted to be --
soar above clouds
above words
and thoughts
beyond innuendo
and imagine
far from the horizon
under the rainbow
over the windsong
inside the truth...
Discovery
in the blinking
of a motion
perhaps a notion
a continuum
a fleeting second
rhapsodic moment
where taste
becomes the inevitable
desire, the demanding noun
amid nuance, the inevitability
in the continuum of taste
and now to taste
that which we desire
the rhapsodic moment
when motion delivers
sensory delights
Ive been sailing
today
against the wind
mere physical feats
of undeniable strength
Strength
because you love me
Standing on the bow
of uncertainty
abysmal luck and all
I still feel
very much the captain
of who I am
and where the tides may take me
As long as some of my journey
is into your arms
The motion of the ocean
an endless tide of emotions
the wind ever so bearing
racing in tumultuous circles
left us gasping in awe
the sheer delight of Mother Nature's
gift in cooling us...
We stood on the highest bluff
overlooking the Pacific
grabbing hard on each other's arm
for fear of becoming
the next human kite
in endless tailspins above the sea...
It's magic the tidal explosions
as they crash onto the rocks
the tide pools filling and them emptying
with each ebb and flow
Pelicans, birds from another era
circle high overhead
right before they dive headfirst
into a welcoming sea
rising up with their bills
full of squirming fish
and a lone hawk
perches itself on the roof of the cabin...
eyeing all in contented bliss
an old familiar song playing in the background
the one where Sarah is whispering softly
and tears come to my eyes
remembering when we last held one another
now the tenderness in your gaze
is somewhat convoluted by the
simple dysfunction
in who we have grown to be
I still feel the intensity
in your love
and the way it grips us
but somehow the passion
feels muddled
as our lives move on and on
in contemporary fashion
so we need to get back
to where we were before the in between
We tried playing 9, but the wind was fierce
hence the cheap fares to paradise
We strolled along the crystal white sands
watching as seabirds overhead made a beeline
for a safer haven in the Atlantic
Chicago has nothing on Jamaica
in the windy season
