i am not who
i seem to be
i hold from you
another side to me

it comes out
when your not there
i hate to hold it in
i can not bare

the other me
wants to be free
my other side
wants the world to see

i know you've
seen my other side
though you may
not have noticed

it's the me
that's the most happy
the other seems to be
always so crappy

i want you to
be proud of me
i want to make you
shout with glee

but in order
for that to be
you must see
my true identity

i know you will not like her
even though she is me
i've heard your blunt remarks
on how you feel for her kind

she loves to fight
for her right
for who she really is

she says ever word
she can possibly think
and when she is heard
it makes every difference
for her and her peeps

so do you see
that the other me
is not me at all

what she can not be
is just who you see
some day i will say
that is who i am
