I feel her heartbeat,
I feel her listening to me breathe
I hear her wanting me
when she walks past
I've touched her a thousand times
in my mind
Yet not allowed myself to be touched by her

you stole the sadness from my heart
a criminal of mercy
scared to smile my soul so dark
i opened the light for you
a hole so deep for you to hide among the memories
so many turning in every direction
some to make you cry
and some to cover yourself in laughter
dance in my anger
it is filled with so much passion
i want to nestle my memories in the warmth of your neck
you rush through my veins like the blood that should be there
so i stand in the silence of our memories
ones weve made,
the many more to come
our souls hang in the sky like hot air balloons
you filling me to raise me higher
me filling you to take you with me
