Lying awake tonight, I hear the rain on the roof.
In my mind I see it running down my window.
I look outside and see only darkness.
I close my eyes and go to our secret place.
A place where we an be free, be together,
where we are not separated by nine endless hours.
What comforts me on this lonely rainy night,
Is one thought and one thought alone.
"She's coming back "
You had to go away for a while, I understand.
I encouraged you to go for it!
Because I know how happy flying makes you.
I can live because I know you are coming back.
This loneliness is only temporary.
Lying here with my mind in our secret place,
Clearly I see your face, that smile that melts my heart.
Those eyes that reflects my love.
Our secret place, the place we dream of so often.
If I could I would seek out that pace for real.
Take you there so we can be free
This is all a dream.
We can make our home our secret place.
There nobody can touch us,we can be safe and free there.
Our home would be filled with out love.
It will not be our secret place anymore but our
perfect place, our home.
I'm so proud of you my Love,
you are out there, though so far from me,
doing what you love, living your dream.
I can hear the happiness in your voice, this warms my heart,
more that you will ever know.
It is hard with you being so far away, but
you are coming back and when you do,
we will have the rest of our lives together!
I will wait for you,
just as I know you will wait for me to get my things done.
This is the beauty of our love.
We understand each other, we encourage each other
to do greater and better things.
in doing this our love has grown,
making me soar higher than you can ever fly.
The best thing is you are soaring with me.
For you love me as I love you.
With all my heart.
