Where is the moon u ask my love
Is it not high above where it belongs?
Alas my love it seems to have gone
To listen to His songs.
All that is beautiful migrates to Him
For truly He is so fair
Of face and voice and spirit sense
He calls all to His lair.
Have you not been invited yet
I ask with some surprise
But see the truth when you shake ur head,
The pain behind your eyes.
Our lives forever entwined,
Our hearts will beat as one
But only one will tell the tale
While the other sees the Son.
I was always bigger than this,
stronger than this,
wiser than this.
The universe was mine to play, mine to slay, mine to flay.
Taking, making, waking, shaking.
My world, my life, my terms and conditions.
And then you blew it apart
With one word you took my soul
And stopped my heart.
Stripped all my being
Just tore me apart!!
And now you stand as I strive to be
Whatever it is you want me to be,
O you love me, I do believe
But is it enough to want to achieve
The heady heights of falling down
Of spinning round and round and round.
Dizzy heights and hazy days
Crazy hearts and lazy ways.
I cant stop the tide, the waves that overthrow
The tsunami of emotion that is swelling to overflow
You and I are destiny
Simply put, we were meant 2 be
Hand outstretched, heart open wide
I pull you close, take you inside
The world really doesn't have to know
Let it close its eyes to our beauty show
The mirror will never tell a lie
All in hope for you and I, but when the time does come to part
It will just be the body and not the heart.
Beauty lies peaceful in blissful slumber
Creamy white with vestige of dew lingers
While the gentle rhythm belies the passion below.
Rain trickling down, such pure sweet liquid
A magic elixir that holds me spellbound
And wanting more.
That first taste of life giving juice
Awakens all senses
Opens mind and body to the possibility of more.
A gentle shrug returns me to this darkened space
Where beauty lies in peaceful slumber
As I restart my journey of love with her.
Can it be that this is true,
For I am I, and you are you.
Our paths so different and yet the same
Is it that until now it was just a game?
I've loved and lost and laughed and cried
I've taken and given, and oh how I've tried!
But now ur here, and I'm so alive
Wit hope and dreams, have u really arrived?
Each day is brighter more vivid and clear
Senses are opened whenever you near
Yes there's fear and there's doubt and a little mistrust
But underneath the skeptical crust
I know in my heart that you are the one
My love, my life, my heart and my soul
My reason for being, one half of my whole.
