My eyes are clear
To see the dawn
I walk my path
My doubts gone

Fear does not run me
My love is true
Always and forever
To you

Her hair thick
Her eyes haunting
She makes me think
Leaves me wanting

I have to breathe
I have to think
Form her essence
I can no longer drink

I have to be reasonable
I have to be sane
But these thoughts
They're all in vain

I know what I want
I'm not unsure
I want her, with
A fire no one can cure

My pulse quickens
My heart beats
Faster, and faster
As we meet

If she's close
I want her nearer
But if she's far,
Then I fear her

I am afraid
This is not right
This is not safe
This is not light

But what is light
But selfish dark
And what is day
But wounded night

Day or night
I need her here
Good or evil I need her
That much is clear

My life is a dream
My dream is my life
My love is my pain
And pain is my wife

I refuse
I can't feel this
This love that is pain
This love that is bliss

But I do feel this
And my heart will not move
My mind will not change
Her, I will not loose

I will keep her close
Close as can be
My love will reach her
Our love will set us free

I have fought this
This love I've denied
My sense I've stuck to
To my heart I've lied

No more to locks
No more to chains
It is just as well
It was all in vain

For she completes me
My other half
And to forget her,
At that I could laugh

Laugh though, I must
I knew I was weak,
Knew all along, my will
Compared to my heart, was weak

So I banish lies
I banish denial
I am set free
Finally off trial
