Let's descend the sheer face of desire,
plumb the river wild,
tumble head over heels
out to the open sea.
What love
makes
solitude a virtue?
When does heart become
brain:
ache, an explosion of
clever joy?
Who will wear this crown
of wild roses
on the vine?
