Show me how to know you;

Like a child, I need.

Show me how to appreciate;

You’re Everything and I’m in awe.

Show me how to love you

And you teach me

By touch, taste, sound, and scent.

You lead my hands

And I spread my fingers and kiss your soul.

You show me how to listen without the use of words.

Silence besides my lover’s sighs,

I’ve never heard anything this loud.

Bringing you to the edge,

It’s what I can do.

I want all of you.

Secrets and whispers and frozen links

You’ve burnt into me

Branded, with ghostly love bites,

Scars on my soul

On our souls

And I dream of tomorrow.

Of forgiveness.

Of “Thank you” and “I’m sorry”

In a world with only you and I

With your hand in mine

A place where the future is always now

And I can kiss you

Because nothing is too soon

And hold you

And tell you the truth

And show you what you really mean to me

And finally give what I can

And offer the promises I'm meant to make

In a land where it can all come true

Because it’s only me and you

Birthmarks

Birthmarks make you memorable.

The texture of your skin, its spots

Are treasures to beheld;

Fondly stared at, memorized.

Your face, your shape, your pores and hair

I love them, those traits that only belong to you.

Burns and scars that brand you,

They make you who you are.

There is character in your hands, in your walk,

In those eyes that make me melt.

And I adore every inch of you.
