Just one look at you
And I melt,
I want to hold you in my arms forever.
When I see your tears,
My heart breaks, and I
Want to know what it is I have done wrong,
What can I do
To make it all better?
I freeze,
Because I do not ever want to say the wrong thing,
And ruin the precious jewel that we share.
Our hearts beat as one, and
Our minds run in time,
The firm touch of your cool hand sends
Shivers down my spine that only you create.
When I am apart from you,
I cannot
Ever
Seem to get you out of my head,
Or out of my dreams.
You heal my wounds, and
Lessen any agony.
You
Leave permanent footprints in my past,
And I can see them,
Glistening far off into the future.
Simply you being there, will bring a smile to my face,
When we hold hands my heart soars,
And when I kissed you,
The feeling,
I cannot even begin to describe.
I want to protect you,
I want to be there for you,
For the rest of my life,
I want you.
