Wild Women, Wild Flowers

Copyright © by ShalaDee, May 23, 2005

We wild women, wildflowers,
Twisting and tangling our stems,
Dining, intertwining our limbs,
Smelling and swelling our precious scent,
Tasting and talking until we're spent.

Sometimes become wild flowers,

Teasing and tickling prickly leaves,
Scratching, catching skin between,
The bite of thorn, grasp of teeth,
Still melting, milking drops of dew,
From the very heart of you,
Wild beautiful flowers all.

There's Something About You

Copyright © by ShalaDee, May 23, 2005

I hope not to stare, sometimes mouth open wide.
It could be your hair, or maybe your eyes.
Your nose your lips, the tongue inside.
Shoulders with freckles, fingers and skin,
I doubt I even know where to begin.
The lilt of your laugh, the tilt of your head,
And not quite but almost, your touch I do dread.
But it's only because I'm in such disarray,
With desire I can't seem to hold at bay.
But at last I think it must be your heart,
That of you, is where, I know must start.
It's that small thing about you I love the most,
But if you touch me again, my composure is toast.

Sounds Good To Me

Copyright © by ShalaDee, May 23, 2005

It's early Friday night,
And if you want me I'll hold you tight,
but let's not make any vows,
that I know somehow,
neither one of us will keep.
You wanna take me home,
you promise that we can be alone,
so we can get right down,
to foolin around,
sounds good to me.

chorus:
But I know what sounds better.
We can go to the beach,
take a walk in the sand,
while I hold your hand,
and kiss your lips so sweet.
If you wanna get rollin,
we'll disappear in the dunes,
laid out on a blanket,
far as we can take it,
underneath the moon.

We're ridin in my car,
you say you didn't know it'd go this far,
but you're not a tease,
you'll do whatever I please,
like you said at the bar.
You've never been with woman,
but you're willin to learn,
I'll take it nice and breezy,
lay you down real easy,
even start at your feet.

chorus:
But I know what sounds better.
We can go to the beach,
take a walk in the sand,
while I hold your hand,
and kiss your lips so sweet.
If you wanna get rollin,
we'll disappear in the dunes,
laid out on a blanket,
far as we can take it,
underneath the moon.

But now I have have the flu,
you say I really wanna be with you,
we can sip hot toddy's,
while I rock your body,
sounds good to me.

Painting A Picture

Copyright © by ShalaDee, November 18, 2005

Your lips on my skin,
each time we begin,
for all is love,
there be no sin.

Your fingers in my hair,
tugging me to be aware,
of what you beg,
to do as I dare.

Is it all for nothing,
doesn't it mean anything,
why we take these chances
just to feel everything.
If it's all just illusion,
can't we chose what we see,
I'll paint you a picture,
that shows us being free.

The you inside me,
tells me always she loves me,
that no matter the illusion,
we are never without we.

In Her

Copyright © by ShalaDee, November 16, 2005

In her eyes,
in her eyes,
I like what I see
when I see me in her eyes.

In her hands,
like drifting sands,
I swell and surge
by her command.

And its cause she sees in me
what I never thought I could be
and it lifts me up to a space where I'm believing in me.
And then she takes me down
she lays me down, she lays me down
And then she takes me down
she lays me down.
Deep inside
its a rising tide
its gonna overflow
its gonna overflow.

Just in her touch,
there's so much
tender love, I can't stop
longing for her touch.

(song lyrics)

Not Lying

Copyright © by ShalaDee, June 14, 2005

I said I would never lie to you,
that as friend that was something I would never do.
And just so you know
it will always be so
my friendship with you will always be true.

But then I started having visions of you in my arms,
And I told you that I didn't mean you no harm
Oh and I tried to hide
the growing love inside
And keep you sheltered from the coming storm.

And I really thought I could fake it,
that my pounding heart could take it,
and not be blue,
not touching you,
not loving you.

Chorus:
I wanna know if you'll let me make your body ache
I wanna know if my touch can make your hands shake
I wanna know if you'll sing to me
tell your dreams to me
just what kind of love we can make.
This loves so strong it's got a heart and soul I just can't hide
you set fire to places I didn't know were alive
you gotta see you bring me to my knees
almost beggin please
let's see what kind of love we have inside.

Now I find I just can't hold it in
I'll do something and you'll never let me in again
I'll try to kiss you
say how much I miss you
and you'll want this friendship to end.

But because I said I wouldn't lie
I have to tell you I may have to say good-bye
I'll respect your feelings
keep it all straight dealings
and hardly stand to look you in the eye.

But I really thought I could take it,
in my mind it'd be just what I made it,
but it's not true,
I'm not touching you,
not loving you.

Repeat chorus

Drunk the Rare Flower

Copyright © by ShalaDee, November 19, 2005

Drunk the dark rose.
Dipping into, sipping strong draught,
fairly losing balance.
Dizzy from the onslaught,
senses spinning, sanity slipping.
Ripped the thorns from anchorage in,
the streams of blood under my skin.

Drunk the rare flower.
Held the tender bud,
nectar comes in a warm flood.
Drown me, hold me under,
blood in my ears pounding like thunder.
Above it all a lone sweet cry,
shudder driven, hitching sigh.
Wrapped in petals, sinking dreams,
drifting down, the whisper of silk.
Tumble into sleep, in soft arms,
I am tipsy, drunk of the rare flower.
