I: WHITE
White is innocence and pure,
Undaunted virgin's sighs endure;
Touch not the blossom, tho' a sin
To leave unkissed this snowy skin.
Ice and ivory, cloud-chilled cream,
O! close thine eyes and reach to dream.
II: PINK
Pink, a blushing maid's first kiss,
That echoes ardor, budding bliss;
Soft petals unfold, teased by lips,
And nectar lapped in golden sips.
Damask, powder, shell and pearl,
O! delicate the flush cheeked girl.
III: PEACH
Peach, more ripe and sweeter still,
An eager dance to drink love's fill;
Perfumed, heady, strong desire,
Revels in the summer fire.
Unfurled agate, nectarine,
O! beating pulse grows ever keen.
IV: RED
Red, full blown with passion's heat,
Denies not two heart's entwined beat;
Embracing wildness, attared song,
Flamboyant scattered kisses long.
Scarlet, crimson, brandywine,
O! rubied buds were ever thine.
Take thy choice - Declare thy hue;
My garden belongs all to you.
